BGVP DMS – Get High at Clubbing… Only

After testing quite a few Chi Fi, this one is one of the few that is not up to par… unfortunately.
Below standard details is the main cause of death, esp being spoiled by the unbelievable details offered by CCA n KZ. Certainly not for classical (everything like inside a dark cloud moooshed together). An obvious weak spot at mid range — tenor seems to sway to and fro, but in fact is due to a dent in the mid range sound curve.
Treble: basically absent
Bass: fat and slow. Blon has the same quantity of bass but the quality is heaven. DMS pays double bass (in jazz trios) like a 300lb C9 🥴
The only music that is enjoyable is club or pop, like Ava Max. The fuzzy mids and bomb like bass makes me feel like hanging out in a club 🕺🏼

The cable is way below standard. I will choose a 4N silver litz to let the iem has a second chance. Yet it will make the total cost closing to $2k. Not sure by then it will play a $2k sound 🙁
